Keno's car

This is Keno's 1964 EH Special Sedan. It was purchased late in October 1992, a week before he got married. (A wedding present for himself).

Over the next three years it underwent a full rebuild. The bodyshell was rust free with only the guards and doors needing rust work done. The bootlid was in very bad shape, so it was replaced. The roof had to be replaced also, as there was about half an inch of body filler hiding huge dents, that had been caused by a huge tree falling on it. After the bodywork had been completed the EH was finished in ocean blue lacqer with a white roof.

The interior was retrimmed in silver grey vinyl, and features a chrome faced CD player, original steering wheel and column. The vehicle does have remote central locking.

The vehicle is powered by a 186 that is also painted ocean blue, and has been bored out to a 192. It has a stage 3 head, ground crank, lumpy cam, straight cut gears, baffled sump, X2 twin carbies, Perry extractors, and a 2 inch exhaust. It rides on HR Disc brake front end with Pedders lowered 3/4 coils and 2 way Pedders lowered shockers. The rear springs have been reset, lowered and shortened with Pedders shockers. Wheels are 13x7 chromies with EH hubcaps wrapped in Bridgestone tyres.

Keno's EH is insured with Shannons Insurance.
