Paint codes for EJ/EH and their meanings EJ/ EH COLOUR IDENTIFICATION : Location of colour identification tag : Metal plate fixed to bulkhead in engine compartment. "TOP" on the identification plate designates the roof colour. Note that some Premier models had the roof painted body colour when new, by the dealer. Dulux supplied "Dulon" brand paint EJ/ EH's The prefix of the paint code tells us this first part of the identification. When painted with Dulon the prefix is 585 or 568 for solid colour. The prefix is 587 for metallic colours. I have a compilation of all of the EJ colour and trim options available, and most of the EH colour and trim options available. If your vehicle was a fleet colour, it may have any of the STANDARD trims fitted to the vehicle. If your colours and trims do not match it may be because the interior of your vehicle is not original. The other explanation may be that quite a few customers did order their trims to be a different colour eg. Bone leather trim in a Valley Mist green Premier.
